Effi Barak

Effi Barak has an extensive background in finance and strategy, starting as an Officer in the Israel Defense Forces in 1991. Over the years, they have held key leadership positions at KPMG, McKinsey & Co, and Ex Libris USA Inc, eventually becoming the Chief Financial Officer at McCarthy Tétrault in 2019. Their experience includes roles such as Director of Strategy and Business Planning at Alcan Global Aerospace, COO at RE/MAX INTEGRA, and Senior Director at Whirlpool Corporation. Throughout their career, Effi has demonstrated expertise in financial planning, corporate development, and strategic leadership.

Effi Barak earned a Dual degree in Law and Accounting from Tel Aviv University in 2000. Effi then pursued an LL.M in Corporate, Tax, and Commercial Law from Tel Aviv University from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, Effi Barak furthered their education by obtaining an MBA with a focus on Finance, Management & Strategy, and Operations from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 2005.
