Carson Wingler

Carson Wingler has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Carson has worked as a Director of Data Privacy at McClatchy since December 2022 and previously held the position of Privacy Program Manager at the same company starting in September 2020. Prior to joining McClatchy, Wingler served as an Information Security Engineer III at Benefitfocus from October 2016 to September 2020, where they managed compliance audits, data privacy and security, and regulatory concepts and requirements. Before that, Wingler worked at SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic as an IT Specialist from January 2013 to October 2016, where they focused on network vulnerability management and risk assessment. Wingler also has experience at SAIC, where they held roles such as Restricted Area Coordinator from July 2009 to January 2013, Systems Integration Analyst from June 2006 to July 2009, and Systems Technician from June 2003 to June 2006.
