Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Alvernia University from 1996 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Kim obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in June 2011. Kim also obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management in January 2018, and the CCP certification from WorldatWork in September 2014.
