Rene Linsen

Rene Linsen is a highly experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant currently working at McCoy since April 2022, managing SAP S4/Hana systems on both the Google Cloud Platform and on-premise for VidaXL. Prior to this role, Rene served at IBM from October 2016 to April 2022, where responsibilities included supervising the upgrade of SUSE Linux servers, migrating SAP systems to the IBM Cloud, and updating customer DB2 databases. Additionally, Rene worked at AT&T from 2010 to October 2016, facilitating the migration of SAP systems from AIX to RedHat Linux and moving approximately 70 systems to the AT&T Cloud. Earlier experience includes a position at TNT from 2000 to 2010 as a SAP Basis Netweaver Consultant and Oracle Database Administrator, and a consultancy role at Getronics from January 1995 to January 2000. Rene holds a Master of Science degree in Geochemistry and Petrology from Utrecht University and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Chemistry from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
