Keith Lawson

Keith Lawson serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at McDaniel College since February 2023. Prior to this role, Lawson retired in February 2024 from the Investment Company Institute, where a career spanned over thirty-five years as Deputy General Counsel specializing in tax law. Additional experience includes serving as an Associate at Miller & Chevalier from 1984 to 1988 and a Law Clerk to Chief Judge Theodore Tannenwald at the US Tax Court from 1982 to 1984. Educational accomplishments include a Juris Doctor with Highest Honors from The George Washington University Law School (1979-1982) and a Bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in Political Science and Economics from McDaniel College (1975-1979).
