Sara Smuts

Sara Smuts is a seasoned legal and sustainability professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Sustainability & Governance at McDermott International, Ltd since November 2020, Sara has held various senior legal positions including Senior Director of Legal for Global Subsea and Floating Structures. Prior experience includes Senior Counsel at CB&I and a solicitor role at Holman Fenwick Willan LLP. Sara has also served as Senior Litigation Consultant at Maersk Oil Qatar and solicitor at Davies Arnold Cooper. Education was completed at Henrietta Barnett School from 1982 to 1988.
