Mereen Miran

Mereen Miran has worked in various positions related to business development and marketing. From 2021 to the present, Miran has served as the Director of Business Development for Transactions, Tax, Employee Benefits, and Private Client Practices at McDermott Will & Emery. Prior to this role, Miran was the Director of Business Development for Investment Management and Tax Practices at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from 2010 to 2021. In this role, Miran managed global strategic marketing and business development initiatives for these practices, with a focus on funds clients in the India/Asia region. Before joining Akin Gump, Miran worked as a Business Development Consultant at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, providing project-based support for the business development department. Miran also has experience as a Marketing Coordinator at Davis & Gilbert LLP and as a Marketing Manager at the American Conference Institute. Additionally, Miran worked as a Marketing/Business Development Coordinator at Don McDonald & Sons Inc., where they implemented and administered Salesforce and provided support to the global sales team.

Mereen Miran received a BBA in Marketing/Economics from Pace University - Lubin School of Business in the years 1999-2003. They also became a Board Member in the Transformative Leadership Program Advisory at Pace University in 2020. Additionally, in July 2018, Mereen obtained a Certified Yellow Belt in Legal Lean Sigma and Project Management.
