Jamie Fata has a wealth of experience in information technology and management roles. They began their career at Honda of Canada Mfg., Inc. in 2000, where they worked as an Operations Analyst, Telecom Administrator, and ITSM Administrator. They were responsible for maintaining and supporting manufacturing applications, overseeing the telecommunications system, and managing the North American HEAT Call Logging System. In 2006, they became an Application Development Analyst, participating in development projects and working on applications and reporting management systems. They also served as the Manager of Network, Telephony, and Data Centres, overseeing LAN, WLAN, WAN, SAN switching, and telephone communications. They managed data centre operations and led IT construction projects. After leaving Honda, they joined Community First Credit Union as a Senior IT Manager, where they managed IT operations, infrastructure, and security across multiple locations. They also contributed to incident, crisis, asset, and change management systems and served as Deputy Privacy Officer. In 2011, Jamie Fata moved to Sault College of Applied Arts & Technology where they held various leadership roles, including Manager of Enterprise Systems and Application Support, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Information and Marketing Officer. They were responsible for coordinating IT-related activities, implementing IT policies and best practices, and managing the college's systems and applications. Most recently, Jamie Fata joined McDougall Energy Inc. as the Vice President of Information Technology, Marketing, and Continuous Improvement.
