Robert Bäckström

Robert Bäckström is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Partner and Managing Director at MCF Corporate Finance since June 2018, Bäckström previously held the position of CEO and Co-Founding Partner at Valentum Partners from October 2012 to April 2018. Additional experience includes board member roles at Mind Industrial Group AB and Mannerheim Invest AB from July 2015 to July 2017, as well as a partnership at Arctos Mergers & Acquisitions from August 2005 to September 2012. Early career highlights include a stint as a Management Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and as Corporate Controller at Swedish Match AB. Bäckström holds dual master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Finance and Business Administration from Stockholm University.
