Matthew O'Brien

Matthew O'Brien, PE, serves as an Aviation Project Manager at McFarland-Johnson, Inc. since January 2016, bringing extensive experience in planning and engineering within the aviation sector. Previously, Matthew held the position of NH Section President at the American Society of Civil Engineers from May 2017 to May 2018 and served as a Planning Board Member for the City of Manchester from June 2013 to June 2016, focusing on sustainable development and city ordinances. Prior roles include Aviation Planner and Engineering Project Manager at Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc., where Matthew provided a comprehensive range of aviation planning services, and Civil Engineer, E.I.T. at Northeast Civil Solutions. Matthew began the professional journey with an internship in engineering and surveying while obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Roger Williams University, completed in 2007.
