Marcie Sims

Marcie Sims has been a tenured professor in the English Division at Green River College in Auburn, WA since September 1994, teaching a variety of courses including composition, creative writing, and literature. In addition to teaching, Marcie has contributed to the field as a writing and composition textbook author for Pearson Higher Education since March 2008, and as a book author for McFarland & Company, Inc., with the publication of "Capitol Hill Pages: Young Witnesses to 200 Years of History" in January 2017. Marcie holds a Master's degree in English from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in English from California Polytechnic State University-Pomona, both earned between 1987 and 1990.
