Filipe Cruz

Filipe Cruz is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical design, product development, and project management. As the Director of Engineering at MCG mind for metal since October 2019, Filipe oversees Design Engineering and RI&D teams, manages product design and project management efforts, and drives cost reduction and optimization initiatives within the transportation industry. Previously, Filipe served at TE Connectivity, where responsibilities included leading a mechanical design engineering team and implementing standardization platforms. Filipe's earlier roles included significant contributions to process engineering, product development, and structural analysis in various engineering contexts, demonstrating a solid foundation in mechanical and electromechanical systems. With a comprehensive educational background in mechatronics and mechanical systems from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra, Filipe combines technical expertise with leadership skills to foster team development and project efficiency across multiple industries.
