Akshay Gopalakrishnan

PHD Student

Akshay Gopalakrishnan is a PhD Student and Teaching Assistant at McGill University since September 2021, specializing in concurrent programming and operating systems. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Kent focused on programming language memory models and their influence on compiler optimizations, under the supervision of Professor Mark Batty. Gopalakrishnan has conducted research at MPI SWS on symmetry reduction in model checking for concurrent programs, guided by Professor Viktor Vafeiadis. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from McGill University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from COEP Technological University.
