Derek Cassoff

Derek Cassoff is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in marketing, donor relations, and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Communications at McGill University since May 2008, Derek leads a team focused on fundraising and alumni engagement. Prior to this role, Derek held positions such as Director of Communications for University Advancement at McGill, Manager of Marketing and Communications at Bath Fitter, and Communications Officer for the Faculty of Arts and Science at Concordia University. Derek's early career included work as a publicist at Federation CJA. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Concordia University.
