John Lewis

John Lewis is an experienced physician and academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Family Medicine at McGill University since August 2015, where responsibilities include supervising students and conducting lectures. As the founder and president of Dr John Lewis Inc since January 2009, John has established a personal medical practice. Concurrently, John holds positions as an Emergency Physician at St Mary's Hospital and CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal, providing expertise in emergency medicine and family medicine while teaching McGill students. Previous experience includes serving as an ER MD at Hawkesbury District and General Hospital, a community physician in Sioux Lookout, and a physician at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital. John's educational background includes a Bachelor of Medical Science, a Family Medicine Residency, and Special Competence in Emergency Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in French Language and Literature from Bishop's University.
