Kantha Shelke, Ph.D., is the founder and principal of Corvus Blue LLC, an independent contract food science and nutrition research firm established in 2000, serving clients ranging from artisan makers to multinational brands. Shelke is an influential figure in academia and industry, holding positions such as Senior Lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, where responsibilities include teaching regulatory science and food safety, and a member of advisory boards for McGill University and the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences. Additionally, Shelke serves as Science & Technology Editor for the Private Label Manufacturers Association and as a member of the advisory board for the Nutrition Business Journal. With significant involvement in the Institute of Food Technologists and past experience as a visiting professor in Food Law & Bio-resource Technology, Shelke has contributed extensively to the fields of food science and nutrition, supported by advanced degrees from North Dakota State University and Kansas State University.
