Michael J. Davis

Michael J. Davis is an experienced academic with a strong background in history and education, currently serving as a Course Lecturer at McGill University since September 2014. Davis has taught various courses, including themes in Canadian history and the history of New France, developing engaging course materials and delivering intensive summer programs for undergraduate students. Additionally, Davis has contributed as a Remote Learning Assistant during the transition to online teaching due to COVID-19, as well as serving as an Education Researcher at the Thomas More Institute, focusing on academic programming and community educational needs. Previous roles include Communications Coordinator for the Before Canada Conference and English Language Assistant at the British Council in France. Davis holds a PhD in History from McGill University and has a robust academic foundation with degrees from McGill University and the University of Bristol.
