Sylvain Baillet

Sylvain Baillet serves as Associate Dean, Research at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences and holds multiple academic titles, including Professor of Neurology & Neurosurgery and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Canada Excellence in Research Chair in Metabolism and the Brain. Baillet also leads the MEG Imaging Core at the Montreal Neurological Institute and directs the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre, enhancing brain imaging research in Canada. Additionally, Baillet is Chair of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping and an Adjunct Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. As a member of various committees and boards, including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Consortium for the Early Identification of Alzheimer’s Disease, Baillet actively contributes to the advancement of neuroscience research. Baillet's educational background includes a PhD in Physics and an MS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
