Val Munoz is a dedicated professional in the sustainability and environmental education sectors, currently serving as the 2025 Sustainability Education Fellow at the McGill Office of Sustainability since April 2025 and as a Teaching Assistant at the Bieler School of Environment since August 2024. Val’s experience includes roles as a Senior Student Ambassador and Student Ambassador at McGill University, alongside serving as the 2024 Marine Plastics Ambassador for EarthEcho International. Val was also recognized as a 2024 McGill-UWI Queen Elizabeth Scholar while at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Prior positions include working as a Green Scholars: Environmental Literacy intern for Seaside Sustainability and a Public and Schools Programs Intern at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at McGill University, Val holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environment with a focus on Ecological Determinants of Health from the same institution, complemented by a study abroad in Tropical Ecology at The University of the West Indies.
