Henry Hester

Henry Hester has a diverse work experience in structural engineering. Henry currently works as a Structural Engineer at McGrath RentCorp since November 2021.

Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Structural Engineer at ICC, Inc. from January 2018 to November 2021. During their time at ICC, Henry started the Civil & Structural Engineering department and built a team of 3 structural engineers and one senior structural designer. Henry primarily handled structural design at the ICC Fort Mill, SC office and also provided support for structural work in the midwest and Hawaii.

Before joining ICC, Henry worked at CBI/Westinghouse as a Senior Site Engineer from June 2014 to July 2017. In this role, they coordinated design changes and resolutions for the construction of Units 2&3 at the VC Summer nuclear site. Henry was also responsible for all Civil and Structural Nuclear Security related construction and prepared bid packages and followed the construction of a large mechanically stabilized reinforced soil wall.

Henry's earlier experience includes working as a Principal Structural Engineer at Mesa Associates, Inc from May 2010 to June 2014. In this role, they led the Structural Engineering team and worked on various projects related to Industrial, Power, and Nuclear Power. Henry successfully grew the Fort Mill Structural group from one to three engineers/designers.

Henry Hester attended Clemson University College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
