Steven Kennedy

Steven Kennedy is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in architecture and design leadership. Currently serving as Design Director at McGregor Coxall since June 2023, Steven is also a Co-Founder of SCALE RULE, a position held since January 2017. Previous roles include Design Director at Trivandi from November 2022 to June 2023 and Principal at Grimshaw from June 2010 to October 2022, where Steven progressed through various architectural roles. As a Design Think Tank Leader at The London School of Architecture from September 2016 to August 2018, Steven focused on global architectural issues. Steven has also contributed as a Visiting Tutor at Newcastle University and has experience with Jacobs Engineering and Smith Smalley Architects. Educational qualifications include a DipArch from Oxford Brookes University and a BA in Architectural Studies from Newcastle University.
