Stephen Horton has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Stephen started their career in 1995 at the Office of the Attorney General, where they served as a Special Assistant to the Chief Deputy Attorney General until 1997. Stephen then moved on to work as the Organization Director at Gilmore for Governor in 1997. From 1998 to 2000, Horton served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Governor of Virginia's office. In 2000, they joined McGuireWoods Consulting as a Senior Vice President & Director, where they held various roles including Senior Vice President & Director of Grassroots and Issue Management until 2013. In 2013, they took on the role of Senior Vice President & Director of MWCAdvocacy.
Stephen Horton attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science.
