Jon Austen

Jon Austen is the current Senior Independent Director at McKay Securities. Jon has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry. Jon Austen started their career at PwC as a manager from 1977 to 1985. Jon then joined London & Edinburgh Trust PLC as the Group Financial Controller from 1989 to 1997. In 1997, they were appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Pricoa Property Investment Management and served in that role until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they were the UK Chief Financial Officer at Goodman. In 2008, Jon Austen joined McKay Securities PLC as the Group Finance Director and served in that role until 2016. Jon Austen has been with Urban&Civic plc since September 2016 and currently serves as their Chief Financial Officer.

Jon Austen has a BSc in Management Sciences from the University of Warwick, and they also have a certification from the FCA. Jon attended Southwell Minster Grammar School.
