Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is the current Director of Business Intelligence & Technology at McKibbon Hospitality. Prior to their current position, Thomas served as the Associate Director of Finance at Loews Hotels from November 2015 to September 2016. In this role, they provided financial support to the Royal Pacific, Portofino Bay, Hard Rock Hotel, Cabana Bay Beach Resort, and Sapphire Falls Resort.

From July 2006 to December 2015, Thomas served as the Area Director of Finance for Destination Hotels and Resorts. In this role, they provided regional financial and managerial support and oversight for the East Coast portfolio of full service hotels, which included locations in Tampa, FL, Charlotte, NC and San Jose, CA.

Prior to their work with Destination Hotels and Resorts, Thomas served as the Director of Finance for Earthmark Companies from January 2005 to July 2006.

Additional positions held by Thomas include VP, Regional Controller, Destination Hotels & Resorts - Financial and Managerial oversight of East Coast Portfolio, total revenues in excess of $85 Million; and Controller at Wyndham Westshore, Tampa FL after interim work with Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Destination Hotels & Resorts obtained management and converted the property to the InterContinental Tampa.

Michael Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Hospitality Finance.
