Breno MacIel

Breno Maciel is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as a Risk Manager at McKinsey & Company since October 2021, focusing on identifying and mitigating risks for public and private sector clients in Latin America and the United States. Prior to this role, Breno worked as a Risk Specialist at Eurasia Group, providing research and analysis on geopolitical risks, and as a Government Relations Consultant at Banco Itaú, monitoring policy issues and engaging with government stakeholders. Breno’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Duke University, participation in an exchange program at Université Paris-Sorbonne, and an International Baccalaureate from UWC Mahindra College. Currently pursuing an MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, education spans from political science to international relations.
