Hans-Josef Ritzert

Hans-Josef Ritzert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical and industrial sectors. Currently serving as an External Advisor to McKinsey & Company since January 2024, Hans-Josef is also a Board Member and Senior Advisor at Xenon arc, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board at PCC Group, and a Member of the Supervisory Board at Röhm. Consulting independently since July 2019, Hans-Josef previously held key positions at Evonik, including Managing Director of Evonik Nutrition & Care and President of the Greater China Region at Evonik China. With a strong educational background, Hans-Josef holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Deutsches Kunststoff Institut Darmstadt and a degree in Chemistry from Technical University Darmstadt.
