James Iley-Hazelgrove

James Iley-Hazelgrove is an experienced operations consultant currently employed at McKinsey & Company since May 2020. Prior to this, James held various roles at Rolls-Royce from September 2015 to May 2020, including production manager, where leadership of a 68-member team focused on operational performance and lean six sigma principles was a key responsibility. Additional roles at Rolls-Royce included supply chain project manager for single module reactors, a global quality assurance and production system coach in the defence sector, and a material resource planning controller for civil rotatives. An internship in 2014 at RWE npower allowed James to work on industry strategy and policy, while a research internship at the University of Warwick in 2013 contributed to advancements in solid state physics. James holds a BSc MPhys in Physics from the University of Warwick, completed in 2015.
