Ramya Mahalingam is an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where Ramya leads the Design, Leap, and Sustainability practices, focusing on building new ventures with a human-centered product and go-to-market strategy, catering to clients in agriculture, manufacturing, materials, and mobility sectors at the Series C stage and beyond. Ramya also heads McKinseyIn, a startup accelerator aimed at supporting underrepresented founders, having initiated the first Bay Area cohort for Seed and Series A startups, and served as the lead author of the report “Underestimated start-up founders: The untapped opportunity.” Prior to McKinsey, Ramya held multiple design roles at Cardinal Solutions and co-founded the Charlotte Storytellers, a storytelling group.
