Ran Ji

Ran Ji, PE, currently serves as an Associate at McKinsey & Company since October 2024. Prior to this role, Ran worked for Fishbeck as a Senior Bridge Engineer from October 2019 to October 2024, where responsibilities included leading design efforts for new bridge construction and rehabilitation, managing RFIs, conducting LRFD bridge structure analysis, and ensuring compliance with MDOT and AASHTO regulations. Ran also held the position of Bridge Engineer during this time, contributing to notable projects such as the MDOT M-55 and M-46 bridges. Earlier experience includes a role as Bridge Engineer in Training at IBI Group, focused on LRFD bridge design, and serving as a Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University, concentrating on automated pavement crack detection algorithm development. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Michigan and multiple degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering from Oklahoma State University and Southwest Jiaotong University.
