Tristan Tay is a Ph.D. candidate in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Harvard Medical School, working under Principal Investigator Jason Buenrostro in the Stem Cell & Regenerative Biology Department. Since September 2018, Tristan has been a member of the Programming Board for the Harvard Biotech Club and has held various research roles, including as a Research Assistant in the Liu Lab at the Broad Institute and as a Research Co-Op at Editas Medicine, focusing on CRISPR/Cas9 diagnostics for ALS. Tristan's prior experience includes significant positions at Waters Corporation and AbbVie, where contributions led to cost savings and advancements in process reliability. Tristan holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
