Binesh Patel

Binesh Patel currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Medical Group, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Binesh Patel was the Senior Medical Director and Associate CMO at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan from September 2022 to March 2024. Binesh Patel's experience also includes serving as Chief Medical Officer at McLaren Health Care from June 2017 to September 2022 and at Detroit Medical Center from July 2008 to June 2017, where additional roles included ACLS Medical Director and Vice Chief of the Emergency Department. Binesh Patel began as a Staff Physician at Medical Center Emergency Physicians from July 2003 to June 2017 and also held the position of Region 2N Healthcare Coalition Medical Director at MDHHS from August 2011 to December 2013. Educational background consists of a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
