Anil Maheshwari

Anil Maheshwari, MD, serves as the Medical Director of the Weight and Lifestyle Management Program at Cleveland Clinic Canada and holds the role of Executive Health Physician at the same institution since June 2017. Additionally, Anil acts as the National Medical Advisor for Unraveling Obesity, an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University, and a Peer Leader at OntarioMD, specializing in the effective use of electronic medical records to enhance patient care. A strong advocate for lifestyle medicine, Anil has previously worked as a Family Physician and held leadership roles in various health clinics and hospitals, including Chief of Family Medicine at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Anil's educational credentials include an MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a BA in Biology and Psychology from Rutgers University.
