Apurva Kumar

Apurva Kumar is a Senior Security Researcher at Microsoft and has previously held various positions at Lookout, including Team Lead for Threat Intelligence and Staff Security Researcher. In addition to industry experience, Apurva has served as sessional faculty at McMaster University and has a strong academic background with a Master’s Degree in Applied Science (Software Engineering) from McMaster University and a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Intel Security and a Master's Candidate with teaching assistant duties during the academic tenure at McMaster University.
