Joanna Massie

Joanna Massie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, project management, and public engagement. Currently serving as Project Director for CIVDEM@MAC and Lead Researcher for Polimeter at McMaster University and Vox Pop Labs, respectively, Joanna has contributed to several notable projects including Vote Compass initiatives across multiple countries. Previous roles include Coordinator at MASS LBP, Engagement Manager and Regional Manager at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (The RSA), Communications Coordinator at The Work Foundation, and Policy and Communications Intern at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Joanna holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from McMaster University and has completed a Master of Arts in Political Studies from Queen's University and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Policy from the University of York.
