Melany Owens

Melany Owens (nee Podrebarac) has extensive experience in healthcare, currently serving as a Professional Practice Educator for the Emergency Room and Registered Nurse at Joseph Brant Hospital & Foundation since June 2010. Additionally, Melany Owens holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University's School of Nursing since September 2017. Prior experience includes working as a Nursing Assistant at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton from June 2007 to May 2008. Melany Owens earned a Master's degree in Health Management from McMaster University between 2013 and 2016, and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing with Honours from York University, completed in 2009.
