W.R. Bill Joslin, AIA has over 35 years of architectural and urban planning design experience. W.R. Bill practiced in London and Berlin for 17 years, where they worked on corporate office, commercial, and industrial projects that received recognition in design journals and monographs. Currently, they are the Principal and Corporate/Industrial Studio Director at McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, leading the firm's Industrial Segment and Corporate Studio work in the Charlotte office. W.R. Bill also has experience working with international and German clients and providing design services for Foreign Direct Investment projects. Prior to their current role, they were a Partner at JSK Architekten in Berlin, where they were the design director and project manager for large-scale commercial office, transportation, and U.S. military projects. Before that, they worked at Perkins+Will as a Project Architect.
W.R. Bill Joslin, AIA pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Design with a focus on Architecture at the University of Florida from 1977 to 1981. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they completed their Master of Architecture degree from 1985 to 1987. W.R. Bill Joslin, AIA also holds additional certifications including licensure in five states (Florida, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, and South Carolina) and certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
