Ouvedi Rama Naiken

Ouvedi Rama Naiken is a General Manager and Startup Lawyer at ASCENT by McMillan since August 2024, dedicated to helping founders succeed. Previously, Naiken worked as a Capital Markets Lawyer at McMillan LLP from August 2021 and served as Legal Counsel in the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission from March to July 2024. Naiken's experience also includes roles at McMillan LLP as an Articling Student and a Summer Law Student, in addition to advocacy work at McGill University, providing representation and support to students facing disciplinary issues. Naiken has also been a Personal Stock Trader and held various student-related roles, including a bilingual volunteer position at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. Naiken earned a Bachelor's degree in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa, followed by further studies at McGill University.
