Ian Schaeffer

Ian Schaeffer is a litigation attorney and partner at McNamara Law Firm since January 2019, with previous experience as an associate attorney at Cappello & Noël LLP and Michael Woods Law Corp. Ian held various legal positions, including attorney at Law Office of Lana Karhu, legal resident at California Department of Justice, and litigation assistant at Wescott Law, PA. Ian began legal training as a legal intern at Orville Almon Law. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Music from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In addition to legal practice, Ian contributed to the publication "Intellectual Property Law Fundamentals" released in June 2014, addressing contemporary topics in copyright and digital rights.
