Xiang Gong

Xiang Gong is a Principal Engineer - Controls at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. since June 2015, specializing in the control of special vehicles. Previously, Xiang served as a Research Engineer at General Motors, focusing on the active safety of vehicles, and completed an internship at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where research centered on power system modeling and unit commitment. Academic experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, working on projects related to wind turbine condition monitoring and control, and at Zhejiang University, where Xiang developed sensor and driver boards for vehicles and a defect detection device. Educational qualifications comprise a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master of Engineering from Zhejiang University, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
