Benjamin D. Winebrake is an associate at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. and practices out of the firm’s Marlton, New Jersey office. Mr. Winebrake’s primary areas of practice are civil litigation and employment law, including but not limited to matters involving wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims.
With an interest in litigation and employment law, in 2021, Mr. Benjamin Winebrake joined McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. as a law clerk in their Marlton, New Jersey office, where he gained experience in litigation and serving clients in employment matters. Prior to joining McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. as a law clerk, Mr. Winebrake worked as an intern with Verizon’s in-house legal team. During law school, Mr. Winebrake served as an instructor for the NJ LEEP Summer Law Institute and NJLEEP Middle School Saturday Programming.
Mr. Winebrake graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. During college, Mr. Winebrake worked as a legal intern at Barrett, Johnston, Martin, and Garrison in Nashville, Tennessee, sparking his interest in wage and hour, civil rights, and whistleblower litigation.
Following his graduation from Carnegie Mellon University, Mr. Winebrake joined Teach for America and was placed in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Winebrake taught two years of seventh-grade mathematics at Tres Rios Service Academy in the Littleton Elementary School District. While teaching, Mr. Winebrake earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a Concentration in Secondary Mathematics from Arizona State University in 2019. Mr. Winebrake graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in May 2022.
