Sean Pender

Sean Pender joined MCR in August 2017 and serves as the President of the Program Analytics Division Group. The primary focus of MCR Solutions is to create value to existing customers through the development and implementation of the CommandEdge™ solution for integrated technology enhanced professional services. CommandEdge™ is a market differentiating capability which brings advanced analytics, modeling/simulation and visualization expertise to program management. In addition, Mr. Pender serves as the leader of MCR’s Defense and Intelligence Programs which provides integrated program management, cost estimating, acquisition and technical support to customers and teammates. Prior to joining MCR, Mr. Pender supported the Aerospace and Defense markets as a Department of Defense civil servant at NAVAIR and Director, Operational test & Evaluation (DOT&E) and private sector experience for over 30 years. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of roles in Engineering, Program Management, Business Development and an Executive P&L leader. After leaving the government, Mr. Pender continued to grow and develop his proven track record of business leadership and growth, strategic planning, as well as technology development and implementation for high profile government and international client programs while holding a variety of executive management positions at Alion Science and Technology, Leonardo DRS, and Optimus Corporation. ​ Mr. Pender has Bachelor of Science degrees in Electronic and Computer Engineering from George Mason University. During his time in civil service Mr. Pender achieved Level III DAWIA certification in Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Test and Evaluation.
