Meirion Jenkins has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Meirion is currently serving as the Non-Executive Director and Director of MCS Spain at MCS Rental Software, where they are involved in expanding the company internationally through acquisitions and organic growth. Prior to this, Meirion founded a start-up software company, which eventually became the Control Group Ltd, where they served as the Managing Director until its sale in 2003. Meirion also has experience as the Director of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP software company, specializing in finance, logistics, HR, and CRM. Meirion has also been involved in politics, having served as a Shadow Cabinet Member and Birmingham City Councillor for the Birmingham City Council. Additionally, they have contributed to the UK Government as an International Trade Advisor for UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), assisting British software and other companies with export activities. Meirion has also been actively involved in the Conservative Party, having served as a Parliamentary Candidate in various elections. In 2019, they stood as a candidate in the European Parliamentary elections.
Meirion Jenkins pursued their education from 1979 to 1983 at Aston University. During this time, they focused on studying Accountancy & Law (Managerial & Administrative Studies). Their field of study included Accountancy, specifically Business Finance, as well as Law, covering Contract, Commercial, and Tort aspects.
