Isabella (Belle) Kahalley

Coordinator of Science Engagement at McWane Science Center

Isabella (Belle) Kahalley has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Isabella (Belle) began their career as a Kennel Assistant at the Animal Hospital of North Alabama, where they were trained to administer medicines to dogs and cats. In 2013, they became a Grounds Keeper at Richland Golf Center. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Cashier at Cracker Barrel and as a Sunday School Teacher at Grace Christian Church. During this same period, they also worked at the McWane Science Center in various roles, including Coordinator of Science Engagement, Education Specialist, and Educational Presenter. In 2019, they became an Intern at Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Isabella (Belle) Kahalley completed their Advanced Diploma from Hazel Green High School in 2014, and subsequently earned their Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montevallo in 2018.
