Arthur Lazarus M.D.

Dr. Arthur Lazarus has held various roles throughout their career. Arthur is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Medical Director at Partners Health Management since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Medical Director at mdgroup since July 2021 and at Thrive Behavioral Sciences since March 2020. Arthur also served as an Editorial Board Member at the American Association for Physician Leadership and as an Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Dr. Lazarus has gained valuable experience as a Fellow at Doximity from September 2019 to August 2022. Arthur has also worked as a Medical Director at Cigna from 2017 to 2019 and at Transcend (a Humana Population Health Management Company) from 2014 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they held leadership positions at Shire Pharmaceuticals and AstraZeneca.

Dr. Arthur Lazarus has a comprehensive education history. Arthur obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude with Distinction from Boston University in the years 1971 to 1975. Following this, they attended Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine from 1976 to 1980, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Dr. Lazarus further pursued their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 1994 to 1996.

In addition to their degrees, Dr. Lazarus has also obtained various certifications. Arthur holds a certificate in Medical Management from the AAPL Certifying Commission in Medical Management. Furthermore, they have certfications in Psychiatric Administration and Management from the American Psychiatric Association, as well as in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Currently, in 2023 and 2024, Dr. Lazarus is attending Lenoir-Rhyne University to obtain a Certificate in Narrative Medicine.
