Faizaan Naveed

Faizaan Naveed is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. Currently serving as a Guidance, Navigation & Controls Engineer at MDA Space since June 2024, Faizaan previously held the position of Senior Robotics Engineer at Fetch Robotics (now part of Zebra Technologies) from March 2022 to November 2023, where development of analytical services for warehouse automation was a key focus. Prior to that, Faizaan worked as a Robotics Computer Vision Engineer II at Zebra Technologies, contributing to high-accuracy localization solutions for retail environments. Faizaan began the engineering journey at York University, obtaining a Master of Science in Remote Sensing and Computer Vision and a Bachelor of Engineering in Geomatics Engineering, while also engaging in various research and teaching roles throughout the academic career.
