Pang Leang Hiew

Pang Leang Hiew currently serves as the Vice Chancellor at the University of Wollongong Malaysia, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Pang held various leadership roles, including Vice Chancellor at UOW KDU University College and CEO at KDU Management Development Centre, where a focus on executive learning and professional certification programs was emphasized. With extensive experience as a Grant Assessor and Auditor for the Multimedia Development Corporation and a Qualifications and Standards Assessor for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, Pang has contributed significantly to the education sector. Additionally, leadership roles at BT Global Technology and academic positions, including Visiting Professor at the University of the West of England and Dean at Taylor's University, highlight a strong background in technology and education. Pang's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Telecommunications), along with engineering and IT degrees from Monash University.
