Sam Boering is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in training, consultancy, and project management, currently serving as a Senior Trainer/Consultant at MDF training and consultancy BV since 2001. Prior to this role, Sam worked at DHV from 1995 to 2001, where contributions were made across various sectors including agriculture, natural resources, and infrastructure. Sam's career began with the Dutch Ministry of Development Cooperation from 1992 to 1995 as an Expert in Local Level Land Use Planning and Participation, focusing on participatory planning and project monitoring. Additionally, Sam served as an Associate Expert for FAO in Bolivia from 1987 to 1991, where work centered on regional planning and agricultural development. Sam holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Development Economics from Wageningen University & Research, acquired between 1979 and 1987.
