Richard McCarthy

Richard McCarthy is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as an Associate Electrical Engineer at ME Engineers since September 2022. With a diverse background, Richard undertook a sabbatical for a world circumnavigation from 2012 to 2022. Prior to this, Richard held multiple positions as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Taylor Project Services LLP and gained significant experience in notable projects such as the fit-out of various commercial buildings. Richard's earlier career included roles at Hilson Moran as an Associate Electrical Engineer, contributing to major developments like the relocation of the Football Association to Wembley Stadium. Richard earned a BSc(Hons) in Building Services Engineering from London South Bank University and a City & Guilds HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from South Thames College.
