Zohar Yakhini

Zohar Yakhini is a Professor of Computer Science at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) since August 2016, specializing in bioinformatics, computational biology, machine learning, and data science. Additionally, Zohar serves as a Visiting Professor at Verily and a Chief Technology Officer at PredicDO Ltd., focusing on data technologies to enhance health and assess D&O insurance risks, respectively. Zohar is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at MeMed and holds a position as a visiting faculty member at Technion, mentoring graduate researchers in bioinformatics and computational biology. Previous experience includes a role as a Data Science Consultant at Microsoft and Master Scientist in Computational Biology at Agilent Technologies, emphasizing R&D in molecular measurement technologies. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mathematics from Stanford University and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
