Sonya Simon

Sonya Simon is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in environmental compliance and human resources. Currently serving as General Counsel for Mead & Hunt since August 2022, following the acquisition of Symbiont Science, Engineering and Construction, Inc., Sonya previously held dual roles as General Counsel and Director of Human Resources at Symbiont from 1995 to August 2022. Early career roles included Regulatory Specialist at Superior Hazardous Waste Group, Inc., and Corporate Attorney at Moore Oil Company, focusing on environmental compliance and labor relations. Sonya holds a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
